ARTEMIS Spring Event 2011
On March 1 and 2, 2011 the annual ARTEMIS Spring Event will again take place in Nuremberg, Germany. This event, organised by ARTEMIS Industry Association, will be hosted in conjunction with embedded world Exhibition & Conference. Last year this proved to
be a very efficient opportunity for industry, R&D and knowledge centres to shake hands during these international events.
Programme ARTEMIS Spring Event 2011
The programme for the Spring Event is slightly adjusted in comparison to last year. The ARTEMIS JU Information Day for the Call 2011 is part of the ARTEMIS Spring Event - on day 1 (Tuesday March 1). On day 2, Wednesday March 2, the General Assembly for members of ARTEMIS Industry Association takes place. The approval of the Strategic Research Agenda is a major issue on the agenda. Also Prof. Sturm of embedded world will give a key note on the General Assembly.
Day 1 - Tuesday March 1
The ARTEMIS JU Call 2011 will open on February 28. This will be a 2-step approach with a deadline to submit Project Outlines (PO) and a deadline to submit Full Project proposals (FPP). The first day of the Spring Event 2011 will be occupied with the ARTEMIS JU Information Day for Call 2011, hosted by the ARTEMIS Joint Undertaking Office.
The ARTEMIS JU Information Day gives you a head start for submitting your project proposal and gives the opportunity to:
- get the Call specifics from first hand
- get the information about the Working Programme 2011
- get first insight of how to submit your proposal in the Electronic Proposal Submission Service - EPPS
- speed up information processing
- build and enlarge your network
- meet the ARTEMIS Programme officers in a 1-on-1 set up
In parallel of the ARTEMIS JU Information the ARTEMIS Industry Association will hold the Predisium and Steering Board meeting for invitees only. The first day will be closed with the ARTEMIS Grand Dinner, in the old City Hall in Nuremberg. Participation in this dinner is free for members of ARTEMIS Industry Association. For non-members € 65,00 dinner fee will be applied [limited seating].
Day 2 - Wednesday March 2
Day 2 of the ARTEMIS Spring Event will be a diverse programme offering an interesting key note speech, the ARTEMIS General Assembly (for ARTEMIS Industry Association members only) and free entrance to the embedded world exhibition. As this exhibition is very large, we have prepared an interesting exhibition-walk for you, guiding you past familiar faces and interesting technologies presented at the embedded world exhibition.

- Approval of the Strategic Research Agenda [SRA]
- Election of the new members of the Steering Board of the ARTEMIS Industry Association
- Keynote: Prof. Sturm - Embedded World
The embedded world Exhibition & Conference takes place in the NurnbergMesse from 1-3 March 2011. The experts rate the embedded world Conference as a real industry highlight due to its excellent programme. Top speakers report on the latest technological solutions, present current findings from research and development and provide valuable practical knowledge at presentations, workshops and tutorials. ARTEMIS Stand @ embedded world 2011
ARTEMIS will be present at the embedded wolrd exhibition with a stand. The stand is located in Hall 11, stand number 306. ARTEMIS will be joined with 3 running ARTEMIS projects;
These projects will showcase an interesting demo in the ARTEMIS stand. Come and pay a visit to our stand!
Registration and Entrance to the Spring Event 2011
Entrance to the ARTEMIS Spring Event is free of charge. Participants of the Spring Event will receive free entrance tickets to the Embedded World Exhibition. The ARTEMIS Spring Event 2011 is THE place to be for the ARTEMIS community. It is a unique 1-stop-shopping spot for strategic decisions, consortium building, trends and hypes, boost your innovation and so on... Make sure that you be in time with your registration.
