PowerPoint Presentation
The structured template for your projects PowerPoint Project Presentation can be found on this page. Besides the Project Posters at the Co-summit 2011 exhibition in Helsink we strongly recommend all projects to use a PowerPoint Presentation as well. It is possible to rent a 42 inch television screen at a very beneficiary price. You are also allowed to bring your own screen (or beamer). Communicate your needs clearly to Yvonne van Hattum, who has approached you for your requirements concerning your booth by email at: Yvonne van Hattum.

Where the information on the Project Posters is static, the PowerPoint Presentation will enable you to provide other types of information like integrated short films, demos and several pictures. Furthermore, it allows you more flexibility in your presentation.
PowerPoint Template Guidelines
A PowerPoint has to be adapted to a specific target group. For the exhibition we recommend to develop a PowerPoint Presentation of about 5 minutes and that is targeted to the group: public authorities, press and high level key persons. The ITEA 2 and ARTEMIS-IA Office will organise guided tours for these target group. The 5 minutes has to pitch your project. The set up is explained in the template.
Next to the PowerPoint Presentation for the target group as mentioned above, you better prepare a slide show for a technical target group. However, the training is not applicable on these extra slides. It is recommended to prepare these extra (more detailed) slides in advance and keep it ready on your laptop.
Project stand pitch
The ARTEMIS-IA Office prepared a structured PowerPoint Template. This template should be used for the presentations during the guided tours and can be used as rolling presentation in your stand. This presentation will be the basis of the training in which the stand crew will have the opportunity to participate in. (See Presentation Training).
Styles & remarks
It's easy, you can find the ARTEMIS instructions for the PowerPoint Presentation in the template itself!
Besides these template instructions, please keep in mind the following general guidelines as well when producing your PowerPoint presentation:
1. See it from the point of view of your target audience!
Think hard about your message and what you want to achieve.
2. Use visuals where possible
Visuals might say more than a thousand words. However, always keep in mind to use clear, strong visuals (images/tables/short films etc).
3. Write your text using short, vigorous formulation
Use bullet points, no sentences. Omit detail – you can always provide this verbally (or via extra slides). It’s your (verbal) story that counts.
4. Lay out your PowerPoint according to the ARTEMIS Corporate Identity
The provided templates are intended to make it easier for you to make your PowerPoint presentation. Please adhere to the styles defined in the template.
5. Production of the PowerPoint Presentation
You are personally responsible for the editing of your PowerPoint Presentation. Nevertheless, the ARTEMIS-IA Office want review your presentation, as it will be the basis for the training as well.
So please, feel free to send it to us by 23 September at the latest by email to Yvonne van Hattum at: Yvonne van Hattum. After this date we can not guarantee that we are able to provide feedback in time.
